Steve Simpson and Maria Simpson started working together in 2010 delivering technical projects in the Salesforce ecosystem and together they built a consulting team. Maria’s corporate business experiences complemented Steve’s technical expertise.

With 37 Salesforce certifications between them and an unwavering commitment to quality, they deliver successful engagements for their customers.

Steve Simpson

Co-founder, Managing Principal

Steve brings over 30 years experience with enterprise software engineering, architecture, and technical leadership with the last 17 years focused on the Salesforce ecosystem.

As a Certified Technical Architect (CTA), he holds the highest level of certification in the Salesforce ecosystem and is an expert in the Platform.

Steve is a CTA Instructor for Salesforce Trailhead.   For the last 5 years, Steve has taught Architect Bootcamps and Classes and he has prepared candidates for the CTA exam, for which he is also a judge.

Steve is the group leader for the Phoenix Salesforce Architect Group, and the co-founder of Cactusforce , a community conference, hosted annually in Phoenix.

Steve has successfully designed, developed, and deployed mission critical applications across a multitude of industries and technologies in North America and Europe. Projects include cloud development (Salesforce, Heroku, MuleSoft, AWS, Azure), mobile (IOS and Android), IOT (award winning solutions), IT infrastructure, disaster planning, technical security and application development. He has been a presenter and speaker at multiple technical conferences. 

Recently, Steve was the Founder, President and CTO of Ethos Solutions, a professional services firm specializing in Salesforce Consulting, which he led for 15 years. Ethos was subsequently acquired by Apps Associates, where Steve served as Vice President, Technology for over 2 years.

Past professional experiences include serving as CTO of BMS Practice Solutions, a provider of physical therapy EMR, billing, and practice management solutions.  Also, as a Technical Director of a previous international professional services firm, Steve worked on projects in many of the major cities in the United States and worked for two years in various European cities. His experience includes projects with Fortune 500 companies such as Merrill Lynch, Renault, BMW, Toyota, Wellpoint, Kaiser, Genentech, Amgen, Pacific Bell, PG&E and 20th Century Fox.

Steve has served as a Board Member and past President of the Arizona Chapter of InfraGard, an alliance between the FBI and individuals committed to protecting the nation’s infrastructure and its people. The members, who are representative of all infrastructure sectors, public and private, identify and mitigate physical and cyber threats through information sharing.

Steve leverages his teaching abilities in other facets of his life. He holds a 5th Degree Black Belt & Master Instructor in Tang Soo Do, a Korean Martial Art. He is a PADI Open Water SCUBA Diving Instructor.

Maria Simpson

Co-founder, Managing Principal

Maria is passionate about understanding client needs, delivering solutions to meet those needs, and helping organizations succeed with adoption and roll out of their Salesforce and cloud implementations.

Maria brings over 20 years of corporate management experience with 12 of them in professional services and application development. Most recently, Maria served as Client Services Director and Salesforce Practice Director with Apps Associates, a professional services company. Prior to this, Maria was a Managing Partner for Ethos Solutions, a Salesforce consulting company.

Her leadership role experiences encompass all areas of operations, including client engagement, program management, project oversight and delivery, business development, operations management, as well as contract management. She has led Salesforce project delivery teams with an excellent track record of successful project go-lives using software development life cycle process and methodologies.

Maria previously had a successful career with Merck & Co., Inc. in pharmaceutical sales, sales management, and operations management. As Associate Director, Maria worked closely with senior sales management for national business units, while her team of analysts provided decision analysis and strategic planning for executive management and regional markets. She managed an annual budget of $100+MM and provided leadership and oversight of national initiatives and business processes. She brings a depth of experience in utilizing technology to monitor business analytics, data modeling, and regression analysis.
